Byoungchan has the track records of leading clients from strategy formulation to execution in creating B2C and B2B businesses with over 20 years of experiences in global consulting firms, major IT companies, and a global artificial intelligence startup. After leading Kakao Corporation’s AI business focusing on the smart assistant service, he joined Element AI as the head of North Asia and built the team to collaborate with large enterprises in financial services and manufacturing sectors in AI research and product development in the region.

Since 2021, Byoungchan has been leading the business development of Armilla AI, a Toronto-based responsible AI startup, in Asia region, and also investing in technology-focused startups in US as a venture partner in Scale Asia Ventures.
